"I have ordered some soap making stuff, it is being delivered tomorrow"

Hello!
We are Luke and Sarah, both 36 and a busy couple from Sussex, who started Soap Bar So Good because we couldn't find soaps that smelled like our favourite scents.
It started in May 2025 when I came home from work and Luke proudly explained he had purchased some soap-making equipment that was being delivered the next day. This included scents and dyes and it was all because he had seen an aftershave fragranced soap for £28 and had worked out that he could make his own rather than buying theirs.
After the initial few weeks, and many test soaps later we were so impressed with the results that we decided to share our soaps with as many people we could, it was then I came up with our pun of a name, Soap Bar So Good. Because they were so good!
Since May we have been learning about what it takes to make the best soap that smells good but also has the right feel, adjusting how much moisturiser and lather they produce until they are perfect. Its been a journey full of discovery, trial and a lot of enthusiasm - and every step brings us closer to creating soaps that are both unique and satisfying for our customers.
While we love experimenting and designing our own soaps, we also carefully sourced products from trusted makers who meet the required safety standards. Every bar is chosen to be high-quality, safe, and indulgent, with scents that make everyday life feel a little more enjoyable (Baby Powder being a personal favourite)
When we're not testing new soaps or refining our branding, we enjoy traveling abroad, exploring new fragrances, and bringing inspiration from our adventures. Recent trips to Malaga and Prague found us both in Soap stores picking up bar after bar looking for inspiration.
We are excited to share our passion with you and hope that every soap you experience brings a little joy, comfort and inspiration to your day. This is just the begining of our journey and we are thrilled to continue learning, creating and discovering new ways to make soap that smells incredible.
